Description ~ An Introduction to Knitting Lace

Although Hazel's first love is colorwork and Fair Isle knitting she's well versed in Shetland Lace and is active with the Shetland Lace knitting community.  In this brief introduction to lace lecture Hazel will demonstrate some popular lace knitting patterns as well as give students a chance to try their hand at it.  Shetland Lace and an overview of its history will be discussed.

Materials Needed ~ An Introduction to Knitting Lace

3.25mm or 3.50mm knitting needles - either 2 straight needles or a circular. Pencil, eraser, scissors, blunt needle.
